Once you get the enrolment slip after visiting the nearest aadhar center, it may take 2-3 months to get aadhar card delivered at your home. So in between you can track your aadhar card status using the enrolment ID or EID. Ever you can check aadhar card status if forgot or lost you enrolment slip.
Below are the various method by which you can track your aadhar card status. It can online as well as offline.
Aadhar card status check online
Aadhar card applicant can check their aadhar card status online by visiting the official website of UIDAI aadhar website. There is no cost involved in this process. Below are the process to check the aadhar card status online.
Step 1: Visit the official website of aadhar https://uidai.gov.in/.
Step 2: Now click on the Check aadhar card status from the left side of the page.
Step 3: Alternatively you can directly go to the https://resident.uidai.gov.in/check-aadhaar-status for aadhar card status. The below window will open.
Step 4: Now enter your 14 digits enrolment NO (Ex. 1234/12645/12945) and 14 digit date and time (Ex. 20/12/2018 16:00:56) printed on your enrolment slip.
Step 5: Enter the security code as per the image shown. In this example it is 5705.
Step 6: Now click on check status button.
Step 7: In case your aadhar is generated you will get a message in you register mobile number.
Step 8: Now if you want to download the the E-Aadhar card you the download the aadhar card.
Step 9: Alternatively you can get the aadhar card on you mobile, in that case click on “Get on the mobile”.
Check aadhar card status check through mobile number
Suppose you don’t have computer or internet connect then how can you check the status of aadhar card?
Aadhar card authority made some facility by which you can get the aadhar card status using your register mobile number itself.
Below are the steps by which you can get your aadhar card status through mobile number.
Step 1: Type the following SMS in your mobile “UID STATUS <14 digit enrolment number>” and send it to 51969.
Step 2: If your aadhar generated, you will get the aadhar number details in you mobile.
Step 3: If you aadhar generation is pending, you will be getting message mentioning the same.
Aadhar card status without the acknowledgement/ Enrolment details
Suppose the acknowledgement slip misplaced or lost or damaged and you have lost your enrolment number. In that case as well you can check the status of your aadhar card.
Below are the steps involved to check the aadhar card status without enrolment details-
Step 1: Go to the official website of Aadhar https://uidai.gov.in/.
Step 2: Now click on the “Retrieve lost EID/UID” on the left side of the page.
Step 3: Alternatively you can directly visit https://resident.uidai.gov.in/find-uid-eid.
Step 4: In the next step select Enrolment Number(EID) or Aadhar number(UID) option from the left side of the page.
Step 5: Next Provide personal details like Full name, Email or Mobile number and Human verification code shown in the image and click on the Send OTP button.
Step 6: Within a second you will receive OTP in your register email address or mobile number as per the choice given.
Step 7: Now enter the OTP you have received in Enter OTP box and click on verify OTP.
Step 6: Now within a second you will receive you Aadhar number(UID) or Enrolment ID(EID) as per choice given.
aadhar card status by name
There is a situation where applicant may lost his enrolment slip and lost his aadhar enrolment number. In that case applicant can check the aadhar card status by his name only. Previously there was no solution like that.
In the recent past, Aadhar authority introduced such facility. To check the aadhar card status by name, you have to follow below steps.
Step 1: Visit the official website of aadhar https://resident.uidai.gov.in/find-uid-eid
Step 2: Now select Aadhar number(UID) or Enrolment number(EID) from the left side of the screen.
Step 3: In the next step provide your full name, email address or phone number in the personal details section.
Step 4: Now enter the Human verification code as per the image.
Step 5: After that click on the send OTP button.
Step 6: Once you received the OTP in your register mobile number or register email address enter the OTP into right side of the screen in “Enter OTP” box.
Step 7: Now click on Verify OTP button.
Step 8: Now you will receive a message containing aadhar number or enrolment number.
Step 9: Next visit to https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
Step 10: In the next step select Aadhar or Enrolment ID from the “I Have” section.
Step 11: Select regular aadhar from select your preference section.
Step 12: Now enter the Enrolment ID or Aadhar Number that you have received in you mobile or email address in step 8.
Step 13: Next provide full name and area pincode in their respective box.
Step 14: Now enter the human verification code as per shown in the image.
Step 15: Next click on “Request OTP option”
Step 16: Now enter the OTP you have received and download the Aadhar card in you system.
Step 17: In this way you can check the aadhar status online with only name.
